Just another day at the yard….

Boats are still coming and going as the migration South continues…new friends to be made both of the human variety and the canine variety.  In one corner of the yard the boat that has been in the process of being built that I posted in one of my first blog entries has now been covered in fiberglass and today they were measuring her beam to beam to see how true she is, a beautiful cat boat was simultaneously being hauled in the travel lift, as Bo, the rigger’s dog overlooked the process.

s/v Alchemy is back in the paint shed so weather will not be an issue for reshooting her beautiful Awlgrip Stripe and then on to installation of the new toe rail.

Meanwhile in the other quadrant of the yard a very lucky cruiser is going to have a washer aboard their boat…I just missed when they had it mid air dangling by the hook of the travel lift being delivered on deck.

As well, new cruisers from Maryland arrived with their two dogs, a Carian and Scottish Terrier…they are cuties!
