2001 KTM Adventure R for sale - SOLD SOLD SOLD

This bike has reliably carried me for over 18k miles. I have completed two Alcan 5000 rallies with it. It shows the superficial scars of on and off-road riding, but I have tried to give it good care along the way. This includes always running full synthetic oil after break-in, and regular valve adjustments by dealer.

Here is what is on the bike:

• Custom Seargents saddle - Not shaped to my but, but to butts in general. very comfy! Flanny described it once as a barcalounger! It is more comfortable then any stock seat on any bike I have ever ridden - Designed like a long dirt bike saddle, you can move around front to back to give different riding positions.
• GPR Steering Dampner. Preventative servicing by GPR last year.
• Touratech Dash replacement, mounted with Touratech RB-01 roadbook and sport indicator lights.
• Rally pegs
• Moose Handguards
• Magura hydraulic Clutch. Slave Cylinder replaced last year.
• Scotts Stainless filters, primary and secondary.
• Baja Designs folding mirrors
• Clear Headlight protectors

Wheel bearings replaced last year. Forks seals replaced at 10k miles. Chain and sprockets have 5k on them. Front skid plate mount is jacked (bolt sheared, but works fine with just the underside mounting, I ran the 2004 Alcan 5000 that way.

There is also a slight weeping of oil from the shifter. I imagine a seal will need replacing. I also have decompression and throttle cables to replace those on the bike, I was going to do this as preventative maintenance. Oil changed (Amsoil) less then 300 miles ago, and valves will be adjusted before delivery to new owner .I will also include two sets new of Maxxis 6006 tires.
